Nazaakat Raw Silk Saree

In Indian saree shopping, "raw silk" usually means silk that has a slightly rough, slubby texture, a crisp drape and a softer, less glossy sheen than finished silk. Wikipedia's closest page, on "silk noil," describes a similar low-sheen, slightly rough silk that's gaining popularity for sarees in India. That page isn't exactly about raw silk, though.
